After graduating
Marymount College, NY, with a BA in Psychology, Susan began her career
in television production at Kenyon & Eckhardt Advertising, NY. She
worked on commercials for Ford Motor Co., Helena Rubenstein Cosmetics
and Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer. Susan became a line producer on the production
company side, and soon took on Executive Producer status in multi-director
commercial film companies.
She was responsible for budgeting, contracts and overseeing all aspects
of film production. Her energy, personality and capacity for details
made her career a noted success, having produced many award-winning
spots.
She traveled domestically and internationally for clients such as
American Express, Coca Cola, Miller Beer, American Airlines and many
more. Most notably, Susan was the founding publisher of the New York
Production Guide (NYPG), the first New York commercial production
"bible". In 1986 she began work as a TV production consultant for
Kraft Foods. She has developed and implemented commercial production
guidelines for Kraft, BMW and Miller Brewing Co. to insure production
quality and control costs. Susan has developed and presented production
seminars for brand training.
The acclaimed BMW internet films gave Susan the opportunity to supervise
costs on the cutting edge of cross-platform advertising. Susan’s deep
knowledge of all aspects of commercial film production along with
her superior people skills has helped her build a highly regarded
company and reputation, serving advertisers needs,while fostering
strong relationships among agencies, suppliers and her clients.
